HabitMatrix Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to HabitMatrix (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as "the Terms"). If you do not agree to any part of the Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

HabitMatrix is a habit tracking and formation application designed to help users create, manage, and track daily habits, and to assist users in achieving personal goals through data visualization and reminder features.

3. Account and Login

The App uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. When using this service, you must comply with the following:

• You must sign in with a valid Apple account to access the full features of the App.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
• If you discover any unauthorized use of your account, please notify us immediately.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

The App offers subscription-based payment plans, subject to the following terms:

• Subscription fees will be charged through your Apple ID account.
• Subscriptions will automatically renew within 24 hours before the end of the current period, unless you cancel auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the expiration date.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time by going to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad.
• No partial refunds are provided during the subscription period. For refund requests, please apply through official Apple channels.
• After the free trial period ends, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled.

5. Usage Rules

When using the App, you agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws and regulations.
• Attempt unauthorized access to the App's systems, servers, or networks.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the App or the experience of other users.
• Distribute any viruses, malware, or harmful code.

6. Intellectual Property

The App and all of its content (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, interface design, and software code) are protected by intellectual property laws, and all related rights are owned by the HabitMatrix development team. No part of the App may be reproduced, modified, distributed, or used in any form without prior written consent.

7. User Content

Habit data, records, and related content you create within the App belong to you. We will not share your personal content with third parties without your consent. For detailed information about data handling, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no express or implied warranties regarding the following:

• That the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
• That the results obtained through the App will be accurate or reliable.
• That any defects in the App will be corrected.

The habit tracking features provided by the App are for reference only and do not constitute any medical, health, or professional advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the HabitMatrix development team shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the App, including but not limited to data loss, loss of profits, or business interruption.

10. Service Modifications and Termination

• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the App (in whole or in part) at any time without prior notice.
• If you violate the Terms, we have the right to suspend or terminate your account and access privileges.
• Upon termination of the service, your authorization to use the service will cease immediately.

11. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify the Terms at any time. After modifications are made, we will notify you through in-app notifications or other appropriate means. If you continue to use the App after the Terms have been modified, you will be deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

The interpretation and application of the Terms, as well as any disputes arising from the Terms, shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). If litigation is necessary, both parties agree that the Taipei District Court of Taiwan shall be the court of first instance.
